24 days Nar-Phu Teri pass Mustang

Nar-Phu is the last remote village at Manang region. To reach at Nar-Phu village, drive to Koto village. From Koto turn right side Nar to khola valley. The trekking route through rock cliff and deep gorges. Lower part of Nar khola is not good views, from upper Nar valley you can see a spectacular view of Himalaya. For Nar khola and Mustang region foreigner need special trekking permit.

If someone seriously injured or sick, only the option is rescue by Helicopter if the weather is good. The rescue is quite expensive, everyone needs to buy travel insurance from their own country. If not, available we will help. You can buy such insurance policies in Kathmandu too. For communication we will provide satellite phone sets with enough balance.

The age doesn’t make any difference for this trek, between 17 to 70 years, anyone can do this trip if you are physically fit and healthy. After Nar village follow Labse khola valley, climb to Teri pass and descend to Yak khola. Between Nar to Tangge there are not any more villages, you will see only your team members and mules porters. The trek will end at Mustang Lo manthang. The Mustang region is similar to Tibet. Mustang motor road available between Tibet and Nepal.

There are some tea houses on the route to Nar Phu valley, some of them, neither good, nor comfortable and trustful for trekkers. At Mustang Lo manthang we provide two-night lodge accommodation for your experience. For this trek we provide two man sharing double tent or single supplement tent with double mattress, dining tent with table and stools,

 

kitchen tent with kitchen utensils, toilet tent, shower tent, staff and porter’s tents, an experienced trekking guide, cook, Kitchen boys, Sherpa helper, human porters and First Aid kits. For the meals (breakfast + lunch + dinner) and hot drinks.

We will inform you all the details about this trek, before starting from Kathmandu. Trekking guide will inform you all the details each day’s trekking route and camp site. We suggest every trekker bring their own down sleeping bag -20C. as your size with liner.

3 night at Kathamandu 2 night at Pokhara 16 days at trek 2 days for drive

 

Daily Itinerary:

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you with flowers, drive to the stars hotel as your booking, welcome drinks at the reception check in room. Dinner at your hotel’s restaurant our tour manager will brief you about trekking and other necessary information.

After breakfast, your guide will come pick up you at hotel, drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar with trekking staffs by private vehicle, lunch on the way, after Beshi sahar the road not good, change another reserve jeep to Koto for overnight lodge accommodation.    7 to 8 hours drive.

After breakfast at lodge cross Marshyangdi river’s suspension bridge follow Nar khola valley lunch on the way, o/n tented camp at Dharamsala Some trekkers going Koto to Meta direct, first day such elevation 7 to 8 hours trek not good idea.    5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek starts at lunch stop on the way, trek continue to Chyako for o/n tented camp 5 to 6 hours trek.

No more forest as below, you arrived in the upper Nar khola valley, you will feel dry and thin air walk slowly step by step. After breakfast trek through yaks pastures lunch stop on the way, trek continue overnight tented camp at Phu village.    5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast explore near Himlung base camp, back to camp for lunch. In The meantime, take a hot shower, just relax or visit the village.

After breakfast, descend same route lunch on the way, trek continue through Chyako cross the suspension bridge climb to Sartek monastery at Nar Phedi for overnight tented camp 6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, climb a small pass with Chorten and mani walls lunch stop on the way, trek continues to Nar village for overnight tented camp.    4 to 5 hours trek.

After breakfast, an easy trek to Labse khola valley, where several yak kharkas for summer, stop for lunch on the way, trek continues turn right hand side, cross the suspension bridge at Labsi khola follow the valley pass through few yak kharka overnight a very beautiful campsite.    6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek through yak grazing valley, cross several streams follow Labsi khola, pack lunch on the way, overnight tented camp at the meadow.    6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek through the meadow, follow Labsi khola, pack lunch on the way, trek continues to below Teri pass.    6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast trek through dry meadow, you will see a small lake gradual climb to Teri pass (alt. 5,595m.) with stone chortens and a few prayer flags. From the pass you can see a clear view of Gyalji khang, Khangkaru, Himlung and other Himalayan peaks. pack lunch on the pass gradually descend to Paspu khola for o/n tented camp 6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek through very loose rocky trail, lunch on the way overnight tented camp at Yakpa, where you can see some old house’s ruins.    6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek through a dry meadow long way to the valley, pack lunch on the way, today you can see dry land of Mustang region. Overnight tented camp at Tangge village.    7 to 8 hours trek

Rest day for all, visit around the village and monastery, take a hot shower, just relax.

After breakfast, trek through normal trail lunch on the way. Today you can see a very clear view of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Tsharang village. On the way across the suspension bridge at Dhey khola, overnight tented camp at Yara village.    8 to 9 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek through the village, pack lunch on the way, overnight lodge accommodation at Lo manthang.    6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, visit around the Lo manthang different monasteries, old houses and around the village back for lunch in the afternoon take a hot shower and just relax.

After breakfast, drive by private reserve jeep to Jomsom, the motor road is not complete, very raff road overnight hotel accommodation at Jomsom airport.    6 to7 hours drive maybe more. After dinner, Tips for trekking staff, trek successful gathering parties with staff and team members. Tomorrow early morning trekking staff will drive back to Kathmandu.   Complete the trek.

After breakfast, about 20 minutes flight from Jomsom to Pokhara with your guide, At Pokhara airport hotel’s vehicle waiting for you, drive to stars hotel as your booking, welcome drinks at the reception check in room, dinner as you choose at any restaurant at lakeside.

After breakfast, one hour boating at Fewa lake, lunch at lakeside, after lunch sightseeing at Davis fall, Tibetan refugee camp and peace stupa, dinner as you choose at any restaurant.

After breakfast, 200 km. drive by tourist bus to Kathmandu with your guide, lunch on the way. At Kathmandu welcome drinks at the reception check in room, dinner as you choose at any restaurant.

After breakfast, the city guide will pick you up at the hotel, short drive to Swyambhu nath, which is oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, build 2,500 years ago. Visit around the stupa, offering the butter lamps, from Swayambhu you can see a very clear view of Kathmandu valley. Drive to Bhoudha, the biggest Buddhist stupa in the world, built in the late 15th or early 16th century. Around Bhouda there are several Buddhist monasteries. Visit around the stupa and different monasteries. After lunch drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square for sightseeing, from Durbar square walk to Thamel tourist market sightseeing. Evening our representative will take you for a farewell Nepali typical dinner with a culture program. After dinner back to the hotel.

After breakfast or lunch, our representative will drive three hours before your flight time to the airport, flight back to your destination.   Complete the trip.
