Ama Dablam 6,812m. high above sea level, situated at Khumbu region in Nepal. Ama Dablam is one of the busiest Himalayan peak. Officially first summit on 13th March 1961, by Mike Gill (New Zealander) Barry Bhshop (American) and Michael Ward, British Doctor. which is really difficult technically rock climb at yellow tower 5,950m. very few spaces to set up the tents.
Ama Dablam climbing permit needs to wait for a long time, first come first service. Spring and Autumn seasons, there are many groups at the same base camp. For this peak you need to book in advance for the climbing permits.
From Kathmandu there are two ways to reach Ama Dablam base camp.
1. Direct flight from Kathmandu to base camp by helicopter.
2. Kathmandu to Lukla by flight, 6 days trek to the base camp.
As per our itinerary, 6 days trek starts from Lukla through Namche Bazaar, Thyangboche, Pangboche to Ama Dablam base camp. After summit fly back to Kathmandu by helicopter or same way 3 days trek back to Lukla.
For this expedition, age doesn’t make any difference, if you are physically fit and healthy, between 18 to 70 years. During the expedition, if someone is seriously injured or sick,the only option is to be rescued by a Helicopter. The rescue is quite expensive, everyone needs to buy travel insurance from their own country. If not, we will help. You can buy such insurance policies in Kathmandu too.

We provide services for, expedition route permit and lesion officer, custom clearance at airport for the expedition equipment, ground transportation, domestic flight, helicopter flight to base camp, personal life and medical insurance for the lesion officer, Nepalese staff and porters, rescue flight if necessary, hotel reservation etc.
Tent accommodation, meals (breakfast-lunch-dinner) with hot drinks. human or animal porters, base camp staff cook, kitchen boys, climbing guide, climbing Sherpas (porters), one person one tent accommodation with double mattresses at base camp, dining tent with Table, stools and gas heater, Kitchen tent with kitchen utensils, store tent, shower tent, toilet tent, solar panel with battery for recharge electric device, Satellite phone sets for communication etc.

Note: High altitude tents, climbing gears, climbing equipment for Sherpa, high altitude foods, Oxygen bottles, HP gas, walkie-talkie sets etc. expedition team should bring or buy at Kathmandu.
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you with flowers, drive to a star hotel as your booking, and welcome drinks at reception, check in the room. Dinner at your hotel’s restaurant, our tour manager will brief you about expedition and other necessary information.
Check the expedition’s equipment, shopping other necessary items what you need, just relax at same hotel or visit as you like.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel, drive to the airport about, 35 minutes from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m.) During the short flight you can get an excellent view of Jugal Himal range, Gauri Shanker, Dudh Kunda and Kwangde. Lunch at Lukla meet with the expedition staff, after lunch an easy trek about two hours to Ghat village if the flight on time, if there is flight delay, because of weather or other problem overnight hotel accommodation at Lukla. Next day, trek to Phakding.
After breakfast, an easy trek lunch at Benker, trek continue to check National park entry pass at Monjo post, cross the suspension bridge overnight lodge accommodation at Jorsalle. 4 to 5 hours trek.
After breakfast, an easy trek to Larcha Dhoban, cross the suspension bridge at Dudh kosi, gradually climb up to Thoop Danda for tea or lunch. From this place you can see the first view of Mt. Everest. Trek continues overnight hotel accommodation at Namche Bazaar. 6 to 7 hours trek.
At Namche bazaar, there are several hotels and lodges available. Your guide will find a good accommodation for your two-night stay at Namche. There are many trekkers shops, ATM and good Wi-Fi service.
Rest for high acclimatization visit Namche Sherpa villages, Namche monastery and national park museum overnight same place. From outside the national park museum, you can see a spectacular view of Mt. Everest summit and Khumbu Himalaya.
After breakfast, an easy trek lunch at Sanasa after short rest an easy trek to Phungi Tenga, cross the Dudh koshi river bridge, gradually climb to Thyangboche monastery for overnight lodge or hotel accommodation. There are several hotels and lodges. Your guide will choose a good one for your accommodation. From Thyangboche you can see spectacular views of the Himalaya around you. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After breakfast, an easy trek to Pangboche village for lunch, visit the oldest monastery at Khumbu valley, offer worship (puja) for peace and long life. After lunch cross the bridge, gradually climb to Ama Dablam base camp for overnight tented camp. The base camp at grassland with running water and very beautiful views. 6 to 7 hours trek.
Your Sherpa and staff will establish the base camp, set up all the tents at the base camp.
As a local Sherpa’s Buddhist tradition, worship before you climb Ama Dablam. A local Lama will offer a puja ceremony and hang the prayer flags at the base camp for the peace, long life and success of expedition.
Check and fix your climbing equipment and make it ready to climb for the next days.
After four-night well acclimatize at the base camp, from day 12 to 26, during 15 days period climbing from base camp to summit and back to base camp will be enough time. If not, you can extend the time for the summit.
Packing all your personal equipment. Staff will clean the base camp, collect all the garbage for disposal.
After dinner Tips for climbing Sherpas and base camp staff, celebrate expedition success base camp party with team members and staff.
After a successful summit you’ll fly back to Kathmandu by helicopter to save and share your happy time. Complete the expedition.
At Kathmandu airport our representative is waiting for you, drive to the star hotel, welcome drinks at the reception check in the room. Afternoon free, lunch as you chose at any restaurant.
If you like trek, back to Lukla, it takes only three days. You can take a few porters and a staff with you, trek back to Lukla. Our representative will arrange a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.
Free day to sightseeing or shopping for gifts and other at Kathmandu. Evening our representative will take you for a farewell Nepali typical dinner with culture program. After dinner back to the hotel.
After breakfast or lunch, our representative will drive three hours before your flight schedule to the airport, flight back to your destination. Complete the trip.
