Himlung a beautiful Himalayan peak 7,126m. above sea level, located 28km. far from Manaslu 1.5km. from Tibet-Nepal border at Manang district. First summit in 1992 by Japanese expedition team from the northeast ridge. North and south ridge are normal routes for the summit.
To reach Himlung base camp, drive from Kathmandu to Koto follow Nar khola valley to Phu village to base camp. From Koto to base camp, we provide tent accommodation with complete services. As per our itinerary, the expedition’s trek starts from Koto, Phu village to Himlung base camp after summit same way back to Koto and drive back to Kathmandu.
For this expedition, age doesn’t make any difference, if you are physically fit and healthy, between 18 to 70 years. During the expedition, if someone is seriously injured or sick, the only option is to be rescued by a Helicopter. The rescue is quite expensive, everyone needs to buy travel insurance from their own country. If not, we will help. You can buy such insurance policies in Kathmandu too.

For this expedition, you can make your own group or you can join with other groups. Before your arrival at Kathmandu all the necessary climbing permits, lesion officer, base camp staff, equipment and foods, climbing Sherpas, transportation and other requirements will be ready in time.

For this expedition, we provide two kinds of services.
1. only the Kathmandu assistance.
2. full services for the expedition.
We provide services for, expedition route permit and lesion officer, custom clearance at airport for the expedition equipment, ground transportation, domestic flight, personal life and medical insurance for the lesion officer, Nepalese staff and porters, rescue flight if necessary, hotel reservation etc.
Tent accommodation, meals (breakfast-lunch-dinner) with hot drinks. human or animal porters, base camp staff cook, kitchen boys, climbing guide, climbing Sherpas (porters), one person one tent accommodation with double mattresses at base camp, dining tent with Table, stools and gas heater, Kitchen tent with kitchen utensils, store tent, shower tent, toilet tent, solar panel with battery for recharge electric device, Satellite phone sets for communication etc.

Note:High altitude tents, climbing gears, climbing equipment for Sherpa, high altitude foods, Oxygen bottles, HP gas, walkie-talkie sets etc. expedition team should bring or buy at Kathmandu.
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you with flowers, drive to stars hotel as your booking, welcome drinks at the reception check in room. Dinner at your hotel’s restaurant our tour manager will brief you about expedition and other necessary information
Check the expedition’s equipment, shopping for other necessary items, just relax at the same hotel or visit as you like.
After breakfast, your guide will come pick up you at hotel, drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar with expedition staff by private vehicle, lunch on the way, after Beshi sahar the road not good, change another reserve jeep to Koto for overnight lodge accommodation. 7 to 8 hours drive.
After breakfast, cross Marshyangdi river’s suspension bridge follow Nar khola valley lunch on the way, overnight camp at Dharamsala Some trekkers going Koto to Meta direct, first day such elevation 7 to 8 hours trek not good idea. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After breakfast, trek starts lunch stop on the way, trek continues to Chyako for overnight camp. 5 to 6 hours trek.
From today there are not more forests as below, you arrived in the upper Nar khola valley, you will feel dry and thin air walk slowly step by step. After breakfast trek through yak pastures lunch stop on the way, trek continues overnight camp at Phu village. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After breakfast explore near to Himlung base camp, back to camp for lunch. Day time take a hot shower, just relax or visit the Phu a remote village.
After breakfast, take a packed lunch (picnic) trek through a glacier overnight camp at himlung base camp. 4 to 5 hours trek.
Sherpa staff will establish the base camp, set up all the tents at the base camp.
As a local Buddhist tradition, worship before you climb the Himlung. A local Lama will offer a puja ceremony and hang the prayer flags at the base camp for the peace, long life and success of expedition.
Check and fix your climbing equipment make it ready to climb for the next days.
After four-night well acclimatization at base camp, from day 12 to 25, during 14 days period climbing from base to summit and back to base camp will be enough time, if not you can extend the time for summit.
Pack all the personal equipment and tents, staff will clean the base camp, collect all the garbage for disposal. After lunch, same way back to Phu village. 3 hours trek.
After breakfast at camp, same way descends to Meta for overnight camp, lunch on the way. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After breakfast trek to Koto for overnight lodge accommodation, lunch on the way. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After dinner Tips for the staff, expedition success party with team members and staff.
After breakfast drive from Koto to Besi Shahar by a reserve jeep, after lunch change the vehicle at Besi Shahar drive to Kathmandu. Welcome drinks at the reception, check the room. Dinner as you choose at any restaurant.
Free day to sightseeing or shopping for gifts and other at Kathmandu. Evening our representative take you for a farewell Nepali typical dinner with culture program. After dinner, back to the hotel.
After breakfast or lunch, our representative will drive three hours before your flight schedule to the airport, flight back to your destination. Complete the trip.
