Kanchenjunga Expedition:

Kanchanjunga is the 3rd highest Himalayan peak in the world. 8,586m. high from sea level. This Himalayan peak is situated at the far east, Taplejung district in Nepal. As a border pillar between Nepal, Tibet and Sikkim (India). From Sikkim and Tibet Kharta valley, you are not allowed to climb this Himalayan peak.

Kanchanjunga was first climbed on 25th May 1955 British expedition team by Joe Brown and Geroge Band. This Himalayan peak can be climbed only from Nepal. There are two different base camps and several routes from north and south base camp to summit.

As per our itinerary, to reach at the north base camp, flight or drive from Kathmandu to Taplejung, trek through Taplejung Phurumba, Chiruwa, Sekarthum, Gyapla, Gunsa village, Khambachen, pang pema to Kanchenjunga north base camp after summit, same route back to Taplejung Suketar airport.
