Mt. Everest Expedition:

Mt. Everest is the highest Himalayan peak in the world. 8,848.86 m. high above sea level. Which is known as ‘Top of the world’. Situated northeast region of SoluKhumbu district in Nepal. Mt. Everest is a border Himalayan peak, between Nepal and Tibet (autonomous region of China) as a border pillar. From both sides the Himalayan peak can be climbed.

 

From Kathmandu there are two ways to reach Everest base camp.

1. Direct flight from Kathmandu to base camp by helicopter.

2. Kathmandu to Lukla by flight, 7 days trek to the base camp.

For this expedition, the age doesn’t make any difference, if you are physically fit and healthy, between 18 to 70 years. During the expedition, if someone is seriously injured or sick, the only option is to be rescued by Helicopter. The rescue is quite expensive, everyone needs to buy travel insurance from their own country. If not, we will help. You can buy such insurance policies in Kathmandu too.

 

 

We believe that proper preparation, training, acclimatization, hygienic food and experienced Sherpa climbers make your expedition successful. Himalayan experience trek, assures highest degree of safety, proper planning, and decades of experienced and extensive knowledge to make your dream to climb the eighth highest peak in the world.

For this expedition, you can make your own group or you can join with other groups. Before your arrival at Kathmandu all the necessary climbing permit, lesion officer, base camp staff, equipment and foods, climbing Sherpas, transportation and other requirements will be ready in time.

2. full services for the expedition.

Kathmandu assistance services:

We provide services for, expedition route permit and lesion officer, custom clearance at airport for the expedition equipment, ground transportation, domestic flight, cargo or charter flight to Lukla, helicopter flight to base camp, personal life and medical insurance for lesion officer, Nepalese staff and porters, rescue flight if necessary, hotel reservation etc.

Full services for the expedition:

We provide services for, expedition route permit and lesion officer, custom clearance at airport for the expedition equipment, ground transportation, domestic flight, cargo or charter flight to Lukla, helicopter flight to base camp, personal life and medical insurance for lesion officer, Nepalese staff and porters, rescue flight if necessary, hotel reservation etc.

Lodge or hotel accommodation during the trek to Gorak Shep, meals (breakfast – lunch – dinner) with hot drinks during expedition, human or animal porters, base camp staff cook, kitchen boys, climbing guide, ice fall Sherpa, climbing Sherpas (porters), one person one tent accommodation with double mattresses at the base camp, dining tent with Table, stools and gas heater, Kitchen tent with kitchen utensils, store tent, shower tent, toilet tent, solar panel with battery for recharge electric device, Satellite phone sets for communication etc.

Note: High altitude tents, climbing gears, climbing equipment for Sherpa, high altitude foods, Oxygen bottles, HP gas, walkie-talkie sets etc. expedition team should bring or buy at Kathmandu.

Daily Itinerary:

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you with flowers, drive to star hotel as your booking, welcome drinks at the reception check in room. Dinner at your hotel’s restaurant our tour manager will brief you about the expedition, trekking routes and other necessary information.

Check the expedition’s equipment, shopping other necessary items what you need, just relax at the same hotel or visit as you like.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel, drive to the airport for about, 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m.) During the short flight you can get an excellent view of Jugal Himal range, Gauri Shanker, Dudh Kunda and Kwangde. Lunch at Lukla meet with the expedition staff, after lunch an easy trek about two hours to Ghat village if the flight on time, in case flight delay, because of weather or other problem overnight hotel accommodation at Lukla.

After breakfast, an easy trek lunch at Benker village. Trek continues to check the National park entry pass, lodge accommodation at Jorsalle village.   4 to 5 hours trek.

After breakfast, an easy trek to Larcha Dhoban, cross the suspension bridge at Dudh kosi, gradually climb up to Thoop Danda for tea or lunch. From this place you can see the first view of Mt. Everest. Trek continues overnight hotel accommodation at Namche Bazaar.    6 to 7 hours trek.

At Namche bazaar, there are several hotels and lodges available. Your guide will find a good accommodation for your two-night stay at Namche. There are many trekkers shops, ATM and good Wi-Fi service.

Rest for high acclimatization visit Namche Sherpa villages, Namche monastery and national park museum overnight same place. From outside the national park museum, you can see a spectacular view of Mt. Everest summit and Khumbu Himalaya.

After breakfast, an easy trek lunch at Sanasa after a short rest, an easy trek to Phungi Tenga, cross the Dudh koshi river bridge, gradually climb to Thyangboche monastery for overnight lodge or hotel accommodation. There are several hotels and lodges. Your guide will choose a good one for your accommodation. From Thyangboche you can see a spectacular view of the Himalaya around you.   5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast, an easy trek to Pangboche village for lunch. Vist the oldest monastery at Khumbu region. Offer the worship (puja) for peace and long life. Trek continues to Dingboche for overnight accommodation. There are several lodges and hotels at Dingboche, your guide will choose a good accommodation for you.

From Dingboche you can see beautiful views of Lhotse south face, Ama Dablam and Chhukung valley.   5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast, an easy trek to Thukla for lunch, trek continues to Lobuche for overnight lodge accommodation.    5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek through Khumbu glacier, lunch stop at Gorak Shep. Trek continues through Khumbu glacier to Everest base camp for overnight tented camp.   6 to 7 hours trek.

Your Sherpa and staff will establish the base camp, set up all the tents at the base camp. After breakfast, you can take a packed lunch (picnic) climb to Kalapatter for the view. From Kalapatter you can see a spectacular view of Mt. Everest, Pumori, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawuche, Makalu, Baruntse, Chamlang, Everest ice fall, Khumbu glacier and many Himalayan peaks. After panoramic views descend to the base camp.

As local Sherpa’s Buddhist tradition, worship before you climb Mt. Everest. A local Lama will offer a puja ceremony and hang the prayer flags at the base camp for the peace, long life and success of the expedition.

Check and fix your climbing equipment ready to climb for the next days.

After four-night well acclimatize at the base camp, from day 14 to 53, during 40 days climbing period, from base camp to summit and back to the base camp will be enough time. If not, you can extend the time for the summit.

Packing all your personal equipment. After dinner Tips for climbing Sherpas and base camp staff, celebrate expedition success base camp party with team members and staff.

After a successful summit, world’s highest peak Mount Everest, you’ll fly back to Kathmandu by helicopter to save your happy time. Your entire climbing crew and base camp staff will return later as they have to take out all the climbing gears, equipment from Camp IV to base camp and collect all the garbage for disposal.  Complete the expedition.If you like to trek, back to Lukla, it takes only four days. You can take a few porters and a staff with you trek back to Lukla. Our representative will arrange a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

If you fly by helicopter, at Kathmandu airport our representative is waiting for you, drive to the star hotel, welcome drinks at the reception check in the room. Afternoon free, lunch as you chose at any restaurant. Evening our representative will take you for a farewell Nepali typical dinner with culture program. After dinner, back to the hotel.

After breakfast or lunch, our representative will drive three hours before your flight schedule to the airport, flight back to your destination.    Complete the trip.
