In the event of serious illness or injury during the trek or expedition, we are able to arrange helicopter rescue in Nepal and India. All the trekkers and expedition members should take Travel insurance before leaving home, cover for medical-flight and trip cancellation insurance from your home land if possible. If you do not have this kind of insurance policy, we can arrange it in Kathmandu for you.
In compliance with government regulations all Nepalese field staff guide, cook, Sherpas, kitchen-boys and local porters are fully covered by our own emergency rescue flight, medical and life insurance policies.
In any parts of Nepal and India we can arrange rescue flights by helicopter, but in Tibet there is no helicopter rescue service, only the option is by jeep (road).
