About Moderate camping Treks:

Dear all trekkers from all over the world !
Welcome to the land of Himalaya, who love the mountains nature, and Himalayan environment.


At high Himalaya region most of the trekking routes are completely remote area, several days trek without any local settlement’s lodges or tea houses. During this trek you can cross the high passes above 5,000m. trekking more than two weeks. For such an area we organize tented camping trek with enough foods, experienced Sherpa guide, helper, kitchen staff and porters.


For camping trek, you need only a good campsite with clean running water. Your guide and Sherpa will put up the tents, porters will carry the luggage, cook and kitchen staff will prefer fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner for your service. All the Nepalese staff team work together above 5,000m. elevation without hesitate. 


The daily routine for this trek, each day your guide will suggest you about the next day’s trekking route, timetable and breakfast. Early in the morning, kitchen boys will bring a cup of tea or coffee at your bed (tent), after your bed tea they will bring a bowl of warm washing water at your tent. After fresh you have to pack your duffle bag and you can join fresh and hot breakfast at the table with Himalayan views. After breakfast Slowey walk without any stress, enjoy the views take beautiful photos, visit local villages, monasteries, schools as you like.


Afternoon at camp, the guide and Sherpa will put your tents, they will bring your mattress and luggage in the tent, kitchen boys will bring a bowl of warm or cold water as weather, to clean your face and hands, after fresh you can take hot drinks with biscuits and cheese at the dining tent. You will get enough time for rest until dinner. Dinner time your guide will ask about trek and explain your next day program.
 

High elevation moderate camping trek is not so easy for everyone. Sometime you have to cross high passes, ascend and descend the glacier trails. This trek is suitable for age between 18 to 70 years can join this trek, you need to be physically fit and healthy. 


You can do such moderate camping trek above 5,000m. passes at Makalu, Dolpa, Mugu, Nar phu at Manang, Panch pokhari and Milke danda region.

 
Before you start your moderate camping trek, you need to know few important notices as following for your information and suggestion. Which is really important who travel Nepal first time.

Trekking season: This trek can September to November and February to May. Summer (monsoon) season June to August heavily raining, landslide, high label of rivers may block the trekking trails. Not any visibility to see the Himalaya and mountains. 

During the spring season at different parts of mountain, you can see colourful rhododendrons and other wild flowers in full bloom, clear views of the Himalaya and mountains. Spring brings the happiness for all the local farmers and trekkers at the country side.

Spring and autumn seasons, you can see spectacular views of Himalayan peaks and mountains at far distance. Temperatures are moderate not cold not warm at country side mountain region except winter.  Local farmers are busy and happy to collect their farming and celebrate their feasible which you will enjoy very much. 

Winter season December – January cold temperature below zero. Sometime heavy snow fall may block the high passes, difficult for trekkers. At the high elevation many local people move to low elevation. Recent years global warming changes the Himalayan climate and environment, at the Himalayan region any time can change the weather.  
 

Entry Visa for Nepal: All foreign other than Indian citizens, are required to obtain a tourist visa to enter in Nepal. We suggest you; online tourist visa apply from your home country or (neighbouring country) through Nepal embassy or consular.

If you don't have visa, you can apply arrival visa at Kathmandu international airport or any entry point from India or Tibet border Nepalese immigration. For arrival visa you need to fill up a visa application form with a passport size photo graph, minimum six months valid passport and visa fees. You have to wait on queue if there are many other tourists. After the visa process with in short period immigration will issue your tourist visa for entry in Nepal.

Flight and transportation: Flight to Nepal, there are several direct and connecting flight from all over the world to Kathmandu, Tribhuvan international airport (KTM) Nepal. The flight tickets you can book through your travel agent or booking direct online.  If you want enter Nepal from India or Tibet border, there are direct transport services.


Accommodation: During the trekking period we provide single or double supplement, tent accommodation with double mattresses.
Meals: Each day trekking cook will prefer fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the way cook will try to get fresh local organic fruits, vegetables, chicken and sheep for fresh meat, from local people on the trekking trail. Each day cook will prefer fresh buffet dinner, beginning with soup, minimum five cuisine with hot drinks. After dinner you will get a sweet dish or fresh fruits.  At high elevation it takes long time to make lunch, we provide a packed lunch (picnic) with hot drinks for everyone.

Insurance and rescue:  Nobody knowable when and where any one sick or injured. If you are seriously injured or sick drive to nearest clinic or hospital it takes long time. The easy and fast service by helicopter rescue service from Pokhara or Kathmandu. Which is really expensive, we suggest you, please issue a travel insurance policy from your home country or at Kathmandu.


Trekking Guide, cook and porters: For this trek you need a trekking guide for your security and service. We provide an experience trekking guide, who been this trekking before. For this trek we need cook and kitchen boys to prefer daily meals for the trekkers and Nepalese staffs. For the tented camping trek, the most important is porters, without porter trek can’t move for the destination. During the trekking period we take human porters, mules(horses) or yaks to carry the luggage.


Trekking equipment check list: Trekking boots, light shoes / trainers, down or fibre pile jacket, fleece or sweater, shirts (x 2), long and short trekking trousers (and /or long skirt for women), waterproof poncho or umbrella, sun hat, woollen hat, gloves, socks (x 3), underwear.


Other essential items: Kitbag and padlock, small rucksack, down sleeping bag (4 seasons +) with inner liner, water bottle (1 litre capacity), head torch, personal first aid, sun and snow glasses/goggles, sun cream (factor 15+) & lip slave, towel & wash kit, whistle, passport, passport-size photographs, plastic bags, money belt.


Optional: Camera (with high-capacity memory cards and extra batteries), trekking poles / walking sticks, binoculars, notebook, pen etc.


Bank and cash: At the city there are several Banks, where you can change any foreign currency convert in local Nepali currency Rupees. Also, there are different ATM services, where you can use your Bank debit or credit cards for cash. At the mountain region all these service and facilities not available, you need to take cash local currency for your daily expenses.
