Ghorepani poon hill situated 3,193m. above sea, which is one of the best trekking regions, for the view of west Nepal Himalayas. From Poon hill ‘view tower’ if the weather allows, you can see excellent panorama views of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri, Manaslu, Lamjung, Machhapuchere and many Himalayan peaks. During the Spring season full bloom rhododendron flowers all over the Ghorepani jungle.
The age doesn’t make a difference for this trek, from 12 to 70 years, anyone can do this trip if you are physically fit and healthy. This short trek is suitable for families and student groups. There are several trekking routes to reach Poon Hill. We prefer to start from Dhampus end at Ulleri village, one way to go up, the next way come back for a different view. There are several Tourist standard hotels, lodges and restaurants available on the trail, which make it easy for tea house trekkers. We suggest you bring your own sleeping bag, sometimes hotel or lodge’s blankets are not warm enough.
Pokhara is another beautiful city with Fewa lake and clear view of Lamjung, Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Himalaya. You will spend two nights at Pokhara sightseeing different places and boating at Fewa lake Pokhara.
We will inform you all the details about this trek, before starting from Kathmandu, there will be one porter between two trekkers to carry 25 to 30 kg. luggage, one experienced trekking guide for the group, he /she will suggest a trekking route, meals and accommodation.

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you with flowers, drive to the stars hotel as your booking, and welcome drinks at the reception check in room. Dinner at your hotel’s restaurant our tour manager will brief you about trekking and other necessary information.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel, drive to the airport and take a 32 minutes short flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. From the airplane you can see a nice view of Jugal Himalaya, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range from airplane. Lunch at Pokhara meet with your porters, drive about one & half hours to Dhampus for overnight lodge or hotel accommodation.
After breakfast, start your first day trek, easy trek about one hours pass through rhododendron forest to Deaurali, descend to Naga for lunch, after lunch trek about 2 hours lodge accommodation at Landrung Gurung village. From Landrung you can see very beautiful views of Annapurna south, Hiun Chuli, Ghandrung and other villages. 4 to 5 hours trek.
After breakfast, descend to Modi khola, gradually climbing up to Ghandrung village for lunch and overnight accommodation together to save the time. Ghandrung is the 2nd largest Gurung village there are more than 700 houses, from this village you can get excellent views of Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli and Modi khola. 3 to 4 hours trek.
After breakfast, gradually climb to save time for lunch and night accommodation together at Tadopani rhododendron forest. From Tadopani you can see a very close view of Machhapuchhre, Mardi peak, Annapurna south and Himchuli. 3 to 4 hours trek.
After breakfast, trek about 2 hours through jungle, lunch at Bhantanti, after lunch trek about 3 hours overnight hotel accommodation at Ghorepani Deaurali. There are several tourist standard hotels and lodges available. Your guide will find a good accommodation with beautiful views for you. 5 to 6 hours trek.
Early morning climbing about one hour to Poon Hill for sunrise views. From Poon hill (3193m) view tower you can see a spectacular view of above 8,000m. high Annapurna range, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri and other Himalayan peaks Tukuche, Lamjung, Machhapucherea, Gangapurna, Glacier Doom, Nilgiri and many Himalayan peaks, after sunrise panorama view descend back to Ghorepani for lunch, gradually descend to Ulleri village pass through rhododendron forest for overnight lodge or hotel accommodation. From Ulleri you can see a very giant view of Machhapuchhre. 3 to 4 hours trek from Ghorepani. After dinner Tips for trekking guide and porters. After breakfast, drive about 3 hours from Ulleri to Pokhara, star hotel accommodation as your booking, welcome drinks at reception, check in room, lunch and dinner as your choice at any restaurant.
After breakfast, one hour boating at Fewa lake, lunch at lakeside. Afternoon sightseeing at Davis fall, Tibetan refugee camp and peace stupa. Back to the hotel, dinner as your choice at any restaurant.
After breakfast, 200 km. drive by tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu with guide, lunch stop on the way. At Kathmandu welcome drinks at reception check in room, dinner as your choice at any restaurant.
After breakfast, the city guide will pick you up at the hotel, short drive to Swyambhu nath, which is the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, build 2,500 years ago. Visit around the stupa, offering the butter lamps, from Swayambhu you can see a very clear view of Kathmandu valley. Drive to Bhoudha, the biggest Buddhist stupa in the world, built in the late 15th or early 16th century. Around Bhouda there are several Buddhist monasteries. Visit around the stupa and different monasteries. After lunch drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square for sightseeing, from Durbar square walk to Thamel tourist market sightseeing. Evening our representative will take you for a farewell Nepali typical dinner with a culture program. After dinner back to the hotel.
