Paldor 5,896m. a beautiful trekking peak between Ganesh Himal and Rasuwa just above the Somthang, which is a lead and zinc mine region. Paldor peak is the nearest trekking peak from Kathmandu. There are several trekking routes to reach at paldor peak. From my experience trek starting from Syabrubesi through Gatlang village, Yuri kharka, Khurpu Danda, Somthang, base camp and back to Pangshang Bhanjyang, Rupchet, Gomba trek ends at Bhitrawati, drive back to Kathmandu.
From Paldor summit you can see the Himalayan view of Ganesh Himal. Langtang Lirung, Sisapangma and many Tibet border’s peak.
There are some tea houses between Gatlang to Pangsang bhanjyang, neither good, nor comfortable and nor truthful for the trekkers. For this trek, we provide two man sharing double tent or single supplement tent with mattress, dining tent with table and stools, kitchen tent with kitchen utensils, toilet tent, shower tent, an experienced climbing guide, cook, Kitchen boys, Sherpa helper and porters, meals (breakfast + lunch + dinner) and hot drinks. We suggest every trekker bring their own down sleeping bag -20C. as your size with liner.
The age doesn’t make any difference for this trek, between 17 to 70 years,
anyone can do this trip if you are physically fit and healthy. If someone is seriously injured or sick, only the option is to be rescued by a Helicopter if the weather is good. The rescue is quite expensive, everyone needs to buy travel insurance from their own country. If not, we will help. You can buy such insurance policies in Kathmandu too. For the communication we will provide satellite phone sets with enough balance.
We will inform you all the details about this peak climbing and trekking, before starting from Kathmandu, there will be one porter between two trekkers to carry 20 to 25 kg. luggage.

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you with flowers, drive to a star hotel as your booking, and welcome drinks at the reception check in room. Dinner at your hotel’s restaurant our tour manager will brief you about peak climbing, trekking and other necessary information.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel, drive with trekking staff for about 4 to 5 hours by private vehicle to Syabrubesi. After lunch start the trek gradually climbing to below Gatlang village for overnight camping. 3 to 4 hours trek.
After breakfast, trek through Tamang village lunch on the way overnight camping at Yuri Kharka far from the village, good campsite between forest with beautiful views of mountains and valley. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After breakfast, gradually ascend to Khurpu Danda 3,710m. lunch on the way, trek continue to Somthang through beautiful pine and rhododendron forest. Overnight camping at Somthang.There are few tea shops at Somthang, a nice campsite in the middle of the forest. 5 to 6 hours trek
After breakfast, gradually ascend through a grassy path, lunch and camp together at Paldor base camp. Good campsite with running water and a beautiful view. 3 to 4 hours trek.
Rest day for high acclimatization at Paldor base camp.Check your climbing equipment, take a hot shower, just relax at the camp. Your guides will give detailed information about climbing, he will demonstrate how to use crampons, rope, Ascender, how to ascend and descend. Today you have to take early dinner and bed, because tomorrow you need to wake up early in the morning, your guide will inform you.
Wake up early in the morning, a cup of tea or coffee. Take your head torch light, start to climb through snow, your guide will fix the ropes as necessary, steep climb to the summit 4 to 5 hours. From the summit you can see a clear view of Ganesh Himal range, Langtang lirung, Langtang Ri, Sisapangma at Tibet, Ganja la peaks, Surya peak, Langtang valley and Gosaikunda region. After panoramic views descend to base camp for lunch.
Descending is more dangerous than ascending, because after the summit you feel tired, in the afternoon very slippery snow! Always keep the fixed rope with your climbing harness. 7 to 8 hours summit and back.
After breakfast, same way descends to Somthang for lunch, trek continues through pine and rhododendron forest to Pangsang Bhanjyang yak pasture. Very nice campsite with beautiful views. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After breakfast, trek through mountain ridge to Singla pass (4,045m.) gradually descend to Rupchet, good campsite with beautiful views of mountains and the valleys. 5 to 6 hours trek.
After breakfast, gradually descend for lunch on the way, where water is available, trek continue to Gomba or before. 6 to 7 hours trek.
After breakfast, trek through several small villages and fields, lunch on the way, trek continue descend to Kaulibesi or before. 6 to 7 hours trek.
After breakfast, an easy trek through several small villages to Bitrawati for lunch.
After lunch Tips for your trekking staff. Vehicle waiting for you, 3 to 4 hours drive to Kathmandu, welcome drinks at the reception check in room. Dinner as you choose at any restaurant. Complete the trek.
After breakfast, city guide will pick you up at the hotel, a short drive to Swayambhu, which is the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, built 2,500 years ago. Visit around the stupa, offer butter lamps, from Swayambhu you can see clear views of Kathmandu valley. Drive to Bhoudha, the biggest Buddhist stupa in the world, built in the late 15th or early 16th century. Around Bhoudha there are several Buddhist monasteries. Visit around the stupa and different monasteries. After lunch drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square for sightseeing, from Durbar square walk to Thamel tourist market sightseeing. Evening out representatives will take you for a farewell Nepali typical dinner with a culture program. After dinner, back to the hotel.
After breakfast or lunch, our representative will drive three hours before your flight schedule to the airport flight back to your destination. Complete the trip.
