Nepal is one of most beautiful, landlocked Himalayan country in southeast Asia, an area of 147,181 square kilometres, habitat 30 million people, between the world's two largest populated countries China (Tibet) and India. East, West and south border with Rep. of India, North side great Himalayan as border pillar with Tibet Autonomous Region of China.

Nepal has always been an independent country, never under any foreign country. Which is famous for the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest 8,848.86m. the deepest canyon Kali Gandaki, brave British Gurkha soldiers, birthplace of Lord Buddha at Lumbini and birth place of Hindu's goddess Sita at Janakpur.

There are fourteen Himalayan peaks above 8,000m. in the world, among those eight Himalayan peaks belongs to Nepal. There are more than 240 other Himalayan iconic peaks above 6,000 metres in Nepal.

Nepalese time is 5 hours 45 minutes ahead of GMT. All government and airline offices are open from 9 AM to 4 PM. Government office and banks close on Saturday and other public holidays. The foreign deployments office and embassy are closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday according to the Nepali B.S. calendar. Local currency is Nepali Rupees.

The Reality: Nepal can be Himalayan ''Trekkers Hub'' for world-class natural beauty. Each year millions of trekkers can enjoy Trekking, Himalayan expedition, Mountaineering, wildlife Jungle Safari, River rafting and sightseeing, but the main problem is corruption, strike and political dirty game. 

While Nepal has incredible water resources (over 6,000 rivers). Nepal does have a wide variety of minerals (63 identified commodities), The problem isn't the lack of minerals, but the lack of investment and technology. More than ten million people leave the country for the future of their family. Their frustration with "political dirty games" and corruption government’s mismanagement.
 

How to reach Nepal: There are several connecting flights from Europe, America, Australia and Asia to Tribhuvan international airport (KTM) at the capital Kathmandu, at Lumbini and Pokhara International airport will operate soon in near future.

There is direct transport from Tibet and India. It takes two days drive from New Delhi (India) to Kathmandu, and two days from Lhasa Tibet. There are eight different official border open with India and only two official borders open with Tibet Autonomous Region of China until now. In future between two nations they will open officially other borders soon.
