Nepal is a land where Buddhism isn't just a religion, it’s a living, breathing part of the landscape. Since Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini, the country holds a special place in the Buddhist world.
Most of the Buddhism in Nepal and India they are living at high Himalayan region and recent days at Kathmandu and different parts of India. At Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet Lhasa and Mt. Kailash region they calibrate different festival at different months.
Those festival are really interesting just to see for everyone, but there is a real story about each festival. During the festival all the villagers, relatives and neighbours are gathering for celebrate.
The story of festival: The "story" behind each festival, the victory of good over evil, the life of a Guru Rimpoche (Padma Shambawa), or the arrival of a new seasos is what makes the gathering of family and neighbors so powerful.
These festivals are only one time of year when scattered nomadic families and high-altitude villagers reunite
To reach at the festival place, sush at Mustang Lo-Manthang and Khumbu regon Tyangboche, you have to trek from Lukla. For Mt. Kailash and Lhasa Tibet regions, you have to drive by overland to reach there. For all those necessary requirements, we will organize all in one package.
The Calander: The festival are not a same calander, each year the date will be different. Because the lunar calendar has a different number of days than the solar year, the festival dates "shift" annually, sometimes by as much as a month. While there are many local festival at different region in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan.
