Mt. Everest 8,848.86 m. is the highest peak in the world, situated at north east Nepal as border pillar between Nepal and Tibet (autonomous region of China) The Everest Khumbu valley is one of the most expensive trekking regions at Nepal, because flight cost, local porters, daily supply and accommodation. At Khumbu valley most of the local peoples are Tibetan Buddhist the world-famous SHERPA people. But nowadays because of tourism all mixed people are living in this region.

For this trek the age doesn’t make any difference, from 17 to 70 years, anyone can do this trip if you are physically fit and healthy. There are several Tourist standard hotels, lodges and restaurants available on the trail, which make it easy for this tea house trek. We suggest you bring your own sleeping bag, sometimes the hotel or lodge’s blankets are not warm enough.

During this trekking period, you can trek four major valleys in the Khumbu region. Gokyo, Everest, Chhukung and Thame. On the trekking routes you can visit different Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries. At Sagarmatha national park after Namche village you can see very closely, different wild animals and birds. From Kala patter and Gokyo Ri, you can see a spectacular view of above 8,000m. peaks and other many Himalayan peaks.

This trek will start and end at Lukla airport. We will inform you all the details about this trek, before starting from Kathmandu, there will be one porter between two trekkers to carry 25 to 30 kg. luggage, one experienced trekking guide for a group, he /she will suggest a trekking route, meals and accommodation.

Daily Itinerary:

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport, our representative will welcome you with flowers, drive to the stars hotel as your booking, welcome drinks at the reception check in the room. Dinner at your hotel’s restaurant our tour manager will brief you about Khumbu trekking and other necessary information.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel. Drive to airport, about 35 minutes morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m.) from airplane you can get excellent view of Jugal Himalayan range, Gauri Shanker, Dudh Kunda and Kwangde peak. Lunch at Lukla meet with the porters, after lunch start your first day trek about two hours to Ghat village if the flight is on time, if the flight is late, because of weather or other problem overnight stay Hotel at Lukla.

After breakfast, an easy trek lunch at Benker, trek continue to check National park entry pass at Monjo post, cross the suspension bridge overnight lodge accommodation at Jorsalle.    4 to 5 hours trek.

After breakfast, easy trek until Larcha Dhoban, cross the suspension bridge gradually climb to Thoop Danda, Packed lunch (picnic) with hot tea or juice, from this place you can see first view of Mt. Everest. Trek continues to Namche Bazaar for overnight hotel accommodation. At Namche there are different trekkers shops, Wi-Fi and satellite phones and ATM service. There are several tourist standard hotels and lodges available at Namche, your guide will check a good accommodation for your two-night stay at Namche Bazaar.    6 to 7 hours trek.

Rest for high acclimatization, visit Namche monastery, Sherpa village and national park museum. From out of the National park museum, you can see a spectacular view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Tawache, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Khang tega, Kusum Tsenga, kwangde and Khumbi illa. Namche is the main market for the Khumbu region, each Saturday a small market at Namche, most of the Khumbu’s peoples are coming to buy their daily supply.

After breakfast, easy trek to Sanasa for lunch, after Sanasa there are two ways. The main route right hand side going for Tyangboche, the left-hand side for Gokyo valley, easy climb to Mong Danda stop for tea, from this place you can see nice view of Thyangboche and Fortse village. Descend to Fortse Tanga for overnight lodge accommodation.   5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast, gradually climb to Dole (altitude 4,200m.) for lunch. Now you are above 4,000m. You will feel very thin and dry air, trek slowly step by step, after lunch short rest trek continues Macharma for overnight lodge accommodation.    6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, trek continues tea stop on the way lunch at Phanga (4,470m.) gradually ascend trek continue to Gokyo Lake for overnight hotel or lodge accommodation. There are several hotels and lodges available, your guide will find a good accommodation for your two-night staying at Gokyo.    6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, early morning gradually climbing to Gokyo Ri (alt. 5,340m.) for the best Himalayan view. Take a Packed lunch (picnic) with hot tea or juice. From Gokyo Ri you can get a spectacular view of Cho you, Gyachung kang, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Khangtega, Kusum Khangkaru, Tawuche, Makalu, Baruntse, Chamlang and many Himalayan peaks. After panoramic views descend to Gokyo at the same place.

After breakfast, about half an hour same way back to the second lake, follow left hand side Ngojumba glacier trail to Taknak for lunch, trek continues to Fortse village for overnight lodge accommodation. It will be a long day between Gokyo to Fortse village. There are not any good lodges to stay on the way, maybe in the near future.   8 to 9 hours trek.

After breakfast, easy trek to Pangboche village for lunch, visit the oldest monastery at Khumbu region. Trek continues, tea stop at Orsho, after a short rest continue to Pheriche for overnight hotel or lodge accommodation. There are several tourist standard hotels and lodges available.   6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, gradually ascend to late Sherpa’s memory place, lunch at Thukla (4620m.) trek continues to Labuche for overnight lodge accommodation.    6 to 7 hours trek.

Early breakfast, trek through Khumbu glacier to Gorak shep (alt. 5,110m.) stop for hot tea or soup, check in the room and put your luggage. Take a packed lunch (picnic) gradually ascend to Kala pattar (alt. 5,545m.) for the best view of Mt. Everest. From Kala pattar you can get spectacular views of Pumori, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusum Khangkaru, Tawuche, Makalu, Everest base camp and many other Himalayan peaks. After best panoramic views descend to Gorak shep for overnight accommodation

After breakfast, same way back through Khumbu glacier to Lobuche for lunch, after short rest descend to Thukla for tea, trek continues to Dingboche for overnight hotel or lodge accommodation. At Dingboche there are several hotels and lodges, your guide will look a good accommodation for your two-night staying. 6 to 7 hours trek.

After breakfast, day explore to Chhukung valley, lunch at Chhukung back to Dingboche same place. From Chhukung you can see a giant view of Lhotse south face, Island peak, Tashi Labtsa pass, Ama Dablam and many other Himalayan peaks.

After breakfast, easy trek to Pangboche for lunch descend to the river across the bridge, trek continue to Thyangboche monastery. At Thyangboche there are several tourist standard hotels and lodges, your guide will find you a good accommodation for your two-night staying.    5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast, visit the monastery walk around for the views. Today you will rest for excellent panoramic views from Thyangboche monastery, where you will feel a very different environment and real nature around Himalayan views. Day time, take a hot shower and relax with Himalayan fresh hotcakes and enjoy your holiday. Thyangboche is the real Himalayan paradise for the views.

After breakfast, gradually descend to Phunki tenga, cross the bridge trek, continue to Sanasa for tea stop, trek continues to Khumjung village for overnight hotel accommodation and lunch together. After lunch visit Khumjung monastery and Khunde hospital.    3 to 4 hours trek.

Khumjung, Khunde is one of the most beautiful villages, world-famous Sherpa families.

After breakfast, visit Everest view hotel (highest elevation’s hotel in the world) trek through Syangboche airport, lunch at Tamo village. After lunch continues to Theme village for overnight accommodation.    6 to 7 hours.

After breakfast, Visit the Thame monastery, same way back to Namche for lunch, after lunch descend to the valley, cross the suspension bridge easy trek to Monjo for overnight lodge accommodation.    5 to 6 hours trek.

After breakfast, easy trek to Choplung village for lunch, trek continues to Lukla for overnight hotel accommodation.    4 to 5 hours trek.
After dinner Tips for the trekking guide and porters. Trek a successful gathering party with your trekking staff and team members.   Complete the trek.

After breakfast, flight out from Lukla to Kathmandu with the guide, at Kathmandu airport vehicle waiting for you, drive to the hotel welcome drinks at the reception check in room. Afternoon free, Lunch and dinner as your choice at any restaurant.

After breakfast, the city guide will pick you up at hotel, short drive to Swyambhu nath, which is oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, build 2,500 years ago. Visit around the stupa, offering the butter lamps, from Swayambhu you can see a very clear view of Kathmandu valley. Drive to Bhoudha, biggest Buddhist stupa in the world, build late 15th or early 16th century. Around Bhouda there are several Buddhist monasteries. Visit around the stupa and different monasteries. After lunch drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square for sightseeing, from Durbar square walk to Thamel tourist market sightseeing. Evening our representative will take you for a farewell Nepali typical dinner with a culture program. After dinner back to the hotel.

After breakfast or lunch, our representative will drive before three hours your flight time to airport flight back to your destination.   Complete the trip.
