Dear all trekkers,
Namaste! A warm welcome to trekkers from all over the world. We invite you to trekking at Annapurna circuit 'Tili Cho pass' region. Which is a true paradise for those who love high-altitude adventure, untouched nature, and the serene mountain environment.
About Tili Cho: The Tili Cho Lake and Mesokanto Pass trek is one of the most adventurous and raw routes in the Annapurna region of Nepal. While the Annapurna Circuit Throng pass and Tili Cho Masokanto pass trekking route is same until Manang village.
After Manang we have turn left hand side to Khangsar village. Between Khangsar to Tini at Jomsom Bazaar, there are not any villages only some lodges and tea houses in trekking route. Tilicho (4,919m), located above Khangsar valley just below the wide Tili Cho peak, which is the highest elevation lake.
Mesokanto (alt. 5,330m.) is one of the less crowds and technical remot Pass (5,330m). between Marshyangdi valley at Manang and Kali Gandaki valley at Jomsom.
Highlights the journeys: Recent days the transport to Manang is available from Kathmandu, however, we do not recommend this due to the risk of altitude sickness. We prefer to drive to Chame Bazaar and trek for Annapurna circuit. This gradual ascent helps your body adjust safely. The route follows the Marshyangdi River, passing through traditional Manang villages like Brathang, Pisang, Braga, Manang ascent to Tili Cho Lake than Mesokanto pass. After Mesokanto pass (alt. 5,330m.) descending to Jomsom Bazaar ending the trek. From Jomsom flight to Pokhara.
Panorama before Tili Cho lake: The Himalaya and other views always better from high elevation. After Pissang village you will see spectacular giant views of Annapurna range at your left-hand side. During the trek you can see above 8,000m. Himalayan peaks Annapurna I, and Manaslu. The iconic Himalayan peaks Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Glacier doom, Tili Cho peak. You can see the trekking peaks Chulu east, Chulu and Pissang peak. You are in the lush, green, and jagged Marshyangdi valleys of Manang, each day you can see Annapurna range very clearly.
Panorama after Mesokanto pass: After Throng pass you can see spectacular view of Dhaulagiri range, Tukche peak, Nilgiri and Mustang Tibet border’s peaks. You drop into the rain-shadow of the Himalayas (Lower Mustang) at Kali Gandaki valley. The landscape becomes arid and desert-like, which makes the massive, snow-covered Dhaulagiri look even more imposing against the brown hills.
Please Note: For all the specific route details, lodging and trip information, please follow the ''day - by - day itinerary'' at the bottom of this site.
Safety Note - Animal Caravans: Between Khangsar to Tili Cho base camp you will frequently encounter caravans of Yaks, Jopkyos, and Mules transporting goods. If you hear bells ringing in the distance, start looking for a wide spot in the trail to step aside immediately. It’s much easier to find a safe spot early than to scramble when the caravan is right on top of you. Always move to the mountainside (the inner wall) of the trail and wait for the animals to pass. Never stand on the cliff-side edge.
High-altitude sickness occurs when your body can’t get enough oxygen because the lower air pressure at higher elevation above 3,000m. when you ascend too quickly during the trek. At High elevation anyone at any time can be suffering from high-altitude sickness which is common, you don’t have to be nervous but please be attention.
Symptoms of altitude: If you feel symptoms of high- altitude (Headache, vomiting, loss your appetite, Dizziness and trouble falling asleep) stop to ascending immediately descend as possible. Eat enough garlic soup, take lots of hot drinks and rest. Next day you will feel better, if not your guide will look for another solution check at H.R.A. (Himalayan Rescue Association) clinic at Manang. In serious cases, clinic will recommend a rescue flight, we can arrange an emergency helicopter evacuation.
Emergency Helicopter Evacuation: Your safety is our absolute priority. In the event of serious illness or injury, our guides are trained to act immediately. They will maintain constant communication with our Kathmandu-based agency to coordinate a rapid response.
We can arrange an emergency helicopter evacuation from any point on the trail back to Kathmandu within a few hours (weather permitting). To ensure a smooth and life-saving rescue, we require all our guests to have travel insurance that specifically covers high-altitude helicopter rescue and medical evacuation. Our team will handle all the logistics with your insurance provider and the helicopter operators so that you can focus entirely on recovery.
Travel Insurance: Unfortunate illness or injury can happen to anyone, anywhere. In the remote mountain regions where we trek, your safety is paramount. Because ground transport to the nearest clinic can be slow, we rely on rapid aerial response.

Spring Season (March - May) Spectacular clear views. The stable weather brings excellent visibility. Above 3,000m, beautiful landscape with Himalayan rhododendrons and various wildflowers in full blossom.
